Overview

This privacy policy describes how Digital with Jatin (operated by Jatin Lokwani) collects and uses information when you visit digitalwithjatin.com. This site does not sell data, display third-party advertising, or share personal information with anyone except the processors listed below.

What data is collected

Contact form

When you submit the contact form at /contact, you provide your name, email address, and message. This information is submitted directly to Formspree (see processors below), which delivers it to my inbox. The data is used solely to respond to your enquiry.

Newsletter sign-up

If you enter your email in a newsletter sign-up form, that address is submitted to Formspree and used to send the occasional AI SEO insight email. You can unsubscribe at any time by replying "unsubscribe" to any email.

Analytics

This site uses Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors use the site (pages visited, time on page, device type, approximate geographic region). These tools use cookies and collect anonymised usage data. No personal identifiers are stored by this site.

You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking using the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

Third-party processors

• Formspree (formspree.io) — processes contact and newsletter form submissions. Data is stored on Formspree's servers. See their privacy policy.
• Google Analytics 4 — usage analytics. Data processed by Google LLC under the EU Standard Contractual Clauses. See Google's privacy policy.
• Microsoft Clarity — session recording and heatmaps (anonymised). Processed by Microsoft. See Microsoft's privacy statement.
• Cloudflare Pages — hosting and CDN. Cloudflare may log IP addresses at the network level for security purposes. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.

Cookies

This site uses the following cookies:

• theme — stores your dark/light mode preference. First-party, localStorage only, no expiry.
• _ga, _ga_* — Google Analytics session and client identifiers. Third-party, 13-month expiry.
• _clck, _clsk — Microsoft Clarity session identifiers. Third-party, 1-year expiry.

No tracking cookies are set before you interact with the site. You can clear cookies at any time in your browser settings.

Your rights

If you are located in the EU, UK, or Australia, you have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of any personal data submitted via this site's forms. To exercise these rights, email digitalwithjatin@gmail.com with your request. Requests will be fulfilled within 30 days.

Data retention

Contact form and newsletter submissions are retained in Formspree for as long as the account is active, or until you request deletion. Analytics data is retained for 14 months in Google Analytics (the minimum configurable period).

Children's privacy

This site is not directed at children under 16. If you believe a child has submitted personal information, contact me at the email above and I will delete it promptly.

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
